BEST Coaches:
We have the best, most experienced coaches. Base Coaches are involved in the development of all the players and design all training plans ensuring quality of training for every player and our Asst. Coaches.
CENTRALIZED Training Plan:
ALL players are very important to us at Acadian Juniors! Every player receives the same training and is taught the same skill progressions, regardless of team strength or level. Players receive training in the fundamental skills for all positions in the international style of play.
BEST opportunity for personal growth:
We offer training for players at any level. We are prepared to form Elite teams in the 10-18 age divisions in addition to offering multiple options for training and play at National and training team levels to best serve our athletes. In addition, our players have the opportunity to compete at the National level at AAU Nationals in Orlando

Elevating skills and developing technique at a high level requires not only the best coaches but the best equipment, WE HAVE BOTH - we invest in our players!
SPECIALIZED Skill Training:
Get a jump start on the season! Look for days and times for affordable specialized training and conditioning opportunities starting in January.
SKILL Specific Lessons:
We will offer skill specific lessons during the season. Additional post season training and competition opportunities are available for all players if desired during the months of May and June.

COVID GUIDELINES
Currently, the State of Louisiana, is in Phase 3 with directives that may impact tournaments this season.
Team practices are allowed as long as all COVID-19 guidelines are being followed.
If tournaments or league dates are cancelled fees will be adjusted at the end of the season and refunds will be issued accordingly, based on missed events.
TRYOUT REGISTRATION PROCESS:
As of September 1st, USA Volleyball has adopted a new Member Management System. This means, the way that you purchase and/or renew your membership will look different than in the past.
Step One:
SPORTSENGINE:
Have a parent/guardian create a household account using parent's information. Then add your child(s) information into the player information. Once you are successfully logged in, you can purchase your child's USAV membership.
If a family has multiple players, they can all have their membership information in the same master account, using one set of login credentials (called a "family account"). This is different than past seasons.
*NOTE: Primary account holder MUST be a parent/guardian.
Step Two:
USAV:
You will need a current membership to participate in any in-person tryout or commit to a club team. This is purchased through your SportsEngine account. This year you will pay for your USAV Registration direct. You will select:
Tryout Procedures:

Tryout Screening: All players and coaches will be temperature-checked at entrance. Players are required to bring the signed forms and turn in at the front desk.

Masks / Face Coverings: Masks are required to enter the facility, during warm-ups off the sidelines and breaks from play. When high intense volleyball related activities occurs on the court, masks are recommended but not required. Coaches are required to wear masks at all time. No spectators allowed at this time.

Cleaning: Hand sanitizer will be available, and AJVB staff are required to clean used volleyballs and areas after each training.
All players attending tryouts HAVE to be registered members of USAV. This membership is REQUIRED by USAV for ANY player participating in competitive volleyball tryouts in the USA.
REGISTERED MEANS: You have registered for Acadian Juniors tryouts, registered with USAV. Registration is required prior to the tryout date due to Covid-19. No walk-ins will be permitted.
Step Three:
ACADIAN JUNIORS TRYOUT FEE:
The tryout fee is $30 if pre-registered on or before November 14, 2020. Payment will be made during registration with SportsEngine.
At tryouts, tryout fee will be $40.
**Tryout fees are non-refundable and non-transferable
Check-in will take place prior to each tryout (check-in time is listed for each tryout).
During check in, you will go through a COVID-19 screening, receive your tryout number. The check-in will be limited and due to maintaining safety during Covid-19 and may take anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on number of players trying out in the respective age group.
